The Club's Documents
The Committee has now formally agreed and adopted a number of documents - which are available via the links below. We hope that these documents will enable us all to enjoy our basketball better and in the right atmosphere.
Some of the documents every Club member will need to be familiar with (ie Players Code of Conduct) whilst others are here simply for ease of reference (eg Attendance Register).
Every Club Member needs to have read and signed (and given a signed copy to Jo) the Players Code of Conduct. See below for more details.
Please contact any member of the Committee (or use the Contact Us link on this website) if you have any queries about these documents.
Club Membership
Every Club Member, when signing up to the Players Code of Conduct, will need to decide whether they wish to be a Fundraising or Non-Fundraising Club Member.
As a Fundraising Club member you will be expected to undertake your fair share of fundraising activities (eg turn up at the Club’s arranged “bucket collections”) during the year – and in return your Club activities will be subsidized wherever possible by the club.
Non-Fundraising Members will not be expected to do any fundraising and their actvities within the Club will not be subsidized.
The distinctions between the two types of membership began on 6th October 2007 – and, essentially, if you are a non-fundraising member, every training session or match you attend will cost you an additional £1. The following charges will, therefore, apply :
Thursday night training sessions :
Fundraising Member - for the first hour £2 and for the second hour an additional £1.
Non-Fundraising Member - for the first hour £3 and for the second hour an additional £1.
Sunday training sessions :
When we have Sunday training sessions (at Talybont) the cost will be £1.50 for Fundraising Members and £2.50 for Non-Fundraising Members.
Match fees:
Fundraising Member - home £2, Away £5;
Non-fundraising member - home £3, Away £6.
If anyone has any questions about the different types of membership works, please ask any member of the committee.
