The Cardiff CELTS Wheelchair Basketball Club has a very active Committee that is dedicated to seeing the Club progress in a way which meets everyones needs.
Following the Clubs 2009 AGM the Club Committee for the 2009/10 season are :

To ensure the Committee works as a team and is able to oversee the Club's interests. To prepare agendas/papers and conduct Committee meetings and ensure that the Committee's decisions are carried out.

Vice Chair Person

To assist the Chairperson with their duties including planning meetings and dealing with correspondence.
|

Secretary

|
To assist the Chairperson and to ensure that notices of meetings or agendas are available as necessary. To take and distribute (where necessary) the minutes of the meetings. To deal with correspondence and ensuring people are notified and to send out publicitiy and any other information. To arrange the Club's AGM. To correspond with other Club's and Associations as necessary in order to arrange the Club's fixtures for the current playing season.

To record all transactions that the Club completes and to give receipts for all monies received. To give the Committee regular financial reports. To prepare budgets for the Club and, if required, to arrange for an audit of the Club's accounts.

Player Representative

To represent the interests of players at all Committee and other meetings and to be the first point of contact for any players within the Club who are having any issues. To bring any player issues that need Committee input to the attention of the Committee.

Welfare Officer

To ensure the Clubs Code of Conduct and Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult Policy and Procedures are complied with and to act as a point of contact in relation to issues regarding the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults within the Club.

To help with specific projects and tasks and to assist other Club officers with their roles.
