Have you ever wanted to have a go at Wheelchair Basketball?
The Cardiff CELTS Wheelchair Basketball Club are pleased to announce that we are running a NEW TRAINING SESSION in Caerphilly on Tuesday nights (starting 17th November 2009) from 6 - 7pm.
PLEASE NOTE - that we are currently having a Christmas break and these Caerphilly sessions will re-start on Tuesday 19th January 2010!
These sessions are open to anyone aged 5 - 19 years old who is able to push a manual wheelchair. Dont worry if you have never played before - all abilities are VERY WELCOME!
The sessions will be held at St Cenydd Leisure Centre (St.Cenydd Road, Trecenydd,
Caerphilly,
CF83 2RP) - behind St Cenydd School (see bottom of the page for a Link to Google Maps). The cost is £2 each time you attend.
Specialised basketball wheelchairs will be available and friendly, expert coaches will be onsite so you can have fun in a safe environment.

so, if you start in these Caerphilly sessions and you decide you want to play in a team, you can also come along to the main Club training session on a Thursday evening!
If you are aged over 19 and would like to try wheelchair basketball, please come along to the CELTS Thursday night training session in Cardiff.
This really is the perfect time for you to try out this amazing sport and, if you like it, join your local
wheelchair basketball Club!

The CELTS are a really friendly Club - and we'd love to meet you....so please feel
free to come along to any of our sessions (in Caerphilly or Cardiff). We have something for
everyone - there's recreational and competitive basketball and you can
get involved at whatever level you like...we have pathways for everyone
to progress whilst having as much fun as possible....you'll enjoy an
active social life as part of the CELTS!
And you might even meet a paralympian!
